Baton Twirling Wrap up
I learned four new tricks since I came into this space and pieced them all together to produce a sequence. Today, on Wednesday March 11, I completed my routine and recorded the final 30 second video.
A few things I learned:
- When you begin to get frustrated by not being able to learn a trick either move on to a different one or remain determined to learn that trick. Never just give up on the whole idea because there's always something new you can learn.
- I started getting discouraged with how to piece it all together but if you write down what you have learned and see how they can transition into one another.

Baton Twirling
After a brief visit to my brothers college, my first ever state school experience, I took notice in the baton twirlers that went out during halftime at their home football game. I was dazzled by their outfits and mesmerized by the seamless twirling they were doing and then and there made it my mission to become just as good. I will create a seamless 30 second sequence of twirling.
Today I will learn one new baton tricks within these last 30 minutes of Hack studio. I completed this goal and next week will learn 3 different tricks. Today, I came in thinking what should I do that's more productive, but the answer lied within me the entire time. I was being productive by doing whatever I wanted to do. I came back to my original idea of baton twirling and learned three tricks. Hopefully next week I can put these tricks together to make up a routine. I finished my sequence today and recorded the final routine. |
